Happy Unbirthday Ashton!! (March 11, 2011)
Typically, Ashton's birthday falls on March 31 every year, but since Ben surprised us with a home visit, we celebrated it early. With Ben gone all the time, I've pretty much adjusted to doing things by myself, but there are a few things I hate doing by myself, and birthday parties are one of them. Ashton had been begging to go to Chuck E. Cheese lately, so since it was a spur-of-the-moment party, we went there. No planning, no mess, no fuss. 
Everyone had a great time. I'm a planner, but it was actually nice to just throw something together and not have months to think about it. Happy birthday Ashton!!
